The Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber is a metal spatula that oscillates with ultrasonic vibrations creating a "pressure washing" effect. The ultrasonic waves help loosen and remove oil, dirt, and cellular debris from pores. The Aqua handpiece is a closed looped system. BELA MD bio-infusion serum or hydrogen water is emitted from the central aperture of the Aqua tip and infused into the skin along the contact path. Remaining solution dissolves any impurities, then exits through the waste inlet port. The BELA MD+ touchscreen interface allows for easy and precise adjustments of vacuum & flow levels.

How it worksThe BELA MD Y Handpiece uses 360-degree rotating massage balls and Micro-current Electrical Neuromuscular Stimulation (MENS) technology to provide muscle stimulation, skin tightening and a lifting effect. Its design enables a relaxing massage while repeated muscle contraction and relaxation boost circulation and toning.
Electroporation to optimize the absorption of serums deep into the skin
During electroporation, a gentle electrical field is applied to the skin to increase its permeability. Intracellular channels temporarily open which allows active ingredients to penetrate deeper layers of the skin. Once the current stops, skin cells return to there normal state with the active ingredients enclosed inside of them. Electroporation is used with the bPURE Hyaluronic Acid serum and could also be used with any conductive and gliding treatment serum.

Preparing for FillersYou don’t need to do much to prepare for dermal fillers, but you may wish to consider doing the following to reduce bruising and swelling. Avoid medications such as Aspirin, Motrin and Ibuprofen which can be blood-thinning. Avoid topical products such as retinol or anti-ageing creams. Avoid irritating procedures such as waxing or hair removal in the area Avoid alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours before treatment. Avoid Botox and dermal fillers if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

Procedure and Down TimeOnce you have completed a consultation with our medical practitioner, the treatment area is prepped and injected with either a fine needle or a cannula, dependent on safety, preference, and location of treatment. The procedure takes up to an hour. You might have mild discomfort, bruising and swelling for up to a week. After the swelling goes down, you might need a touch-up injection for best results.

Post Care InstructionsIt is normal to be somewhat red, tender, and swollen for about 2 to 4 days after filler injection, and bruising is always possible. Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (like Celebrex) for 24 hours to minimize bruising. No alcohol for 24 hours. No upside-down activities (like yoga) or vigorous exercise for 24 hours. No dental procedures, including routine cleanings, for two weeks after filler
